Terms of use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to the meylo website and use of the Meylo application, published by AM Tech (Anthony Marandon, 138 Avenue Victor Hugo, 75016 Paris, France).

1. Purpose

These Terms define the conditions for accessing and using the meylo website and the Meylo application. Accessing the website and using the application imply full acceptance of these Terms.

2. Website access

Access to the website is free of charge. AM Tech strives to ensure the continuous availability of the website but cannot guarantee it. The website may be temporarily unavailable for technical reasons, maintenance, or any other cause beyond AM Tech's control.

3. License to use the Meylo application

The purchase of Meylo through the Mac App Store grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application on any Mac associated with their Apple ID, within the limits set by Apple. This license is strictly limited to personal or professional use by the user themselves.

4. Use restrictions

The user undertakes not to:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, rent, or resell all or part of the Meylo application
  • modify, translate, adapt, disassemble, decompile, or reverse-engineer the application, except within the limits permitted by law
  • circumvent technical protection measures implemented by AM Tech or Apple
  • use the application for illegal, fraudulent, or unethical purposes
  • present the application as their own or as originating from another publisher
  • exploit the application to develop a competing product or service

5. Intellectual property

All elements of the website and the application (texts, graphics, logos, source code, trademarks, domain names, etc.) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. They are the exclusive property of AM Tech or its partners. Any reproduction, representation, or exploitation, total or partial, without prior written authorization is prohibited and constitutes infringement punishable by law.

6. Personal data

The Meylo application runs entirely offline and collects no personal data. The website sets no first-party cookies and directly collects no data. For more details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party links

The website may contain links to third-party websites. AM Tech has no control over these websites and declines all responsibility for their content, availability, or privacy policy.

8. Updates and changes

AM Tech may update the website and the application at any time, add or remove features, or modify the interface, without incurring liability. Application updates are distributed through the Mac App Store.

9. Limitation of liability

The use of the Meylo application is at the user's sole responsibility. AM Tech cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the website or application, within the limits set by law. The user is solely responsible for regularly backing up their data and files created with Meylo.

10. Availability and compatibility

AM Tech does not warrant the compatibility of the application with all hardware or software configurations, nor with all versions of macOS. System requirements are indicated on the Mac App Store listing.

11. Termination

AM Tech may suspend or terminate website access for any user not complying with these Terms, without notice or compensation. Apple may suspend or terminate access to the application in the event of a violation of its own conditions, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

12. Modification of the Terms

AM Tech reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force at the time of access to the website or application. It is the user's responsibility to regularly review the up-to-date version.

13. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and after an attempt at amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the courts of Paris, subject to mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
